Electrical Technician Programs at FETC

Fred W. Eberle Technical Center offers Electrical Technician programs in the evening for adults. Evening classes are typically weekdays from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm. These hours are set by the instructor and are subject to change. Tuition costs about $3,000, and is subject to change. Requirements for this program include a high school diploma/equivalent, application, basic math test, and an interview.

Recent graduates of the FETC Adult Electrical Technology program experienced one hundred percent placement as electricians, alarm system installers, and more. This is a two-semester course, running from August to May. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Journeyman Electrician’s License exam. Evening Adult Classes on Diesel Equipment Technology

The Fred W. Eberle Technical Center Diesel Equipment Technology program is NATEF certified. A two-semester program, the Diesel Technology program runs from August to May. Classes are held on weekdays, usually from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Class times are set by the instructor and are subject to change. FETC offers a hands-on, informational course to give students the necessary knowledge and skill sets they need for success.

Entrance requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an application, and an interview. Tuition costs about $2,250, and is subject to change. One hundred percent of past students have found successful careers in bus mechanics, truck mechanics, and as diesel engineering specialists.
