Collision repair technicians

are knowledgeable in the field of auto body repair and possess the necessary skills to perform related repairs and custom refinishing according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Collision repair technicians fix damaged bodies and body parts of automotive vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks, buses, campers, and trailers.

Students have an opportunity to gain knowledge and develop technical skills in all aspects of the Industry.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a High School Junior or Senior from Barbour, Lewis and Upshur County

  • Adult Students must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Submit an Application

  • Interview with Instructor

LENGTH OF PROGRAM

The program consists of 1080 Clock Hours and may be completed as follows:

  • Full-time—1 year

  • Part-time—2 years (High School students are considered part-time.)

Certifications Available

  • OSHA 10

  • Students earn hours toward ICAR certification(Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair)
