Requirements for this program include a high school diploma/equivalent, application, basic math test, and an interview.

Entrance requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an application, and an interview. Tuition costs about $2,250, and is subject to change. One hundred percent of past students have found successful careers in bus mechanics, truck mechanics, and as diesel engineering specialists. Truck Driving Program at FETC

Fred W. Eberle Technical Center in Buckhannon, WV, offers Truck Driving classes for adults looking to obtain their CDL license. For program consideration, applicants must have a valid West Virginia driver’s license, and be at least 18 years old with two years of driving experience. Students must also pass a DOT CDL physical exam, undergo a drug screening, and follow appropriate dress and hygiene for the industry.

Tuition costs about $4,000, and is subject to change. Classes last for eight to ten weeks, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. After course completion, students will take the appropriate Class A or Class B CDL license with a state-certified tester.
