Fred W. Eberle Technical Center Accepts WV High School Students
Fred W. Eberle Technical Center in Buckhannon, WV, accepts high school students from Barbour, Lewis, and Upshur Counties for one- and two-year career training programs. These programs allow students to prepare for the workforce.

Eberle Technical Center offers technical programs to help you prepare for a future career. The need for tradesmen is constantly rising, and the programs at FETC are set to provide hands-on training and experience for our students.

Finding the Right Program for You at FETC
Fred W. Eberle Technical Center offers both full- and part-time programs to meet the needs of all students. Most high school students spend two years at FETC learning the ways of the workforce. Adult students typically spend one to two years in our programs.
Some adult classes are available in the evening, as well.

Carpentry
Full-time: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Part-time: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 11:00 am; 12:00 pm – 3:00pm
Two semesters: August-December; January-June
Welding Technology Cost: $2,615
Evening: Class times set by instructor

Automotive Technology
Full-time: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Practical Nursing Cost: $5,900
Classroom Hours: 8:00 am-3:00 pm
Clinical Hours: 7:30 am-2:30 pm
