Fred W. Eberle Technical Center Provides Extensive Cosmetology Classes

Fred W. Eberle Technical Center in Buckhannon, WV, offers cosmetology classes for those looking to begin or further their career. Our cosmetology classes focus on business practices, knowledge, skills, and proper attitudes needed to excel in the cosmetology field. After completing 300 hours, students receive hands-on experience in a salon setting.

Upon completion of this program, students receive eligibility for licensure by the State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists.

FETC Cosmetology Program Requirements

Adults looking to pursue a career in cosmetology should consider Fred W. Eberle Technical Center’s extensive, hands-on program. Adult students must meet the following requirements for consideration:

High School Diploma/Equivalent
Entrance Exam
Drug Screening
Background Check
Interview
Personal References

The FETC Adult Cosmetology program accepts applications for enrollment from March 1 to Mid-May each year. Upon acceptance, new adult students begin in mid-August and can complete the program in as little as eighteen months based on attendance. Classes are from 8 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. Tuition costs about $10,000, and is subject to change. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.
