Upon successful completion of the prerequisite courses in this concentration, students will be provided the opportunity to participate in a work-based clinical experience.
Students must complete a minimum of 55 hours in the applicable clinical rotation
Career specific skill sets must be mastered be-fore students are eligible to attain established credentials and/or industry validation.
Students will focus on employability skills and career development, and apply healthcare information technology and technical skills through simulated workplace.
Due to healthcare industry standards exemplary attendance is mandatory.
Students utilize problem –solving techniques, critical thinking, and participate in hands-on activities to develop an understanding of course concepts.
